The Lynx Micro System can be interfaced with an Air Band Radio allowing in flight communication with ground based stations.
There are three interface types available.

Radio Interface Unit
A portable interface unit for connecting one or two headsets to a hand-portable radio.
Includes a built in P.T.T. switch to control radio transmissions from one headset. A socket for connecting a second P.T.T. switch allows two headsets to transmit alternately.
Requires.
The radio to be run from its own battery.

Radio/Power Interface
An interface unit for the connection of one or two headsets to a hand-portable radio. Two selective P.T.T. inputs are provided enabling each headset to transmit independently. An audio socket is also provided, allowing sound to be played into the system or the intercom audio to be recorded.
When connected to a suitable 12v power supply, the Radio/Power Interface will supply power to a radio and trickle-charge Micro System headsets.
